president’s medalist award -凯发在线

to reward the academic excellence and outstanding performance of the most distinguished graduates who are hardworking, virtuous, and gifted, the university has established the “president’s medalist award”. the most outstanding graduates will be awarded the president’s gold medal, and the other finalists will be awarded the president’s silver medal. the list of medalists will be kept in the university history record.

there are about 2,300 bachelor graduates in the 2023/2024 academic year, 16 of whom were nominated by the faculties to participate in the selection. the nominees were carefully evaluated in various aspects, including their academic performance, participation in university and social activities, personal potential and development, etc., to come up with the finalists for the sciences group and the arts group. the university selection committee then reviewed all the materials and interviews of the finalists to make the final vote for 2 gold medalists and 4 silver medalists. they are (in no particular order):

hello everyone! i am jiafan qiu, an undergraduate graduate from the faculty of medicine, majoring in food and nutritional sciences, class of 2024. i am honored to receive the president’s gold medal. this award is not only a recognition of my past efforts but also an encouragement for the future. macau university of science and technology provided me with a resource-rich platform, allowing me to continuously challenge myself and explore new fields. i am fortunate to have studied here; it has not only enriched my knowledge but also honed my willpower and innovative abilities. i understand that receiving this honor does not mean i can rest on my laurels. in the journey of life, awards serve as a motivation to keep moving forward, rather than being the ultimate destination. many of our school's alumni have continued their studies after graduation and have even become the leaders in their respective fields. they have steadily worked towards realizing their life goals, one step at a time. now, i am joining this pursuit of dreams, determined to contribute to the fields of human health and nutrition. finally, i sincerely wish must continues to produce outstanding talents, the teachers remain in good health, and my fellow students have bright futures! thank you all.

hello everyone, my name is yang wanying, an undergraduate graduate who major in chinese medicine from the faculty of chinese medicine. at the very beginning, i would like to thank for this recognition, which is inseparable from the platform provided by m.u.s.t. and the help of every teacher in the past few years. as a tcm student, during the undergraduate period, while studying hard, we need to maintain our love and awe for the traditional chinese medicine and have an open and inclusive attitude towards different disciplines. of course, don't forget to enjoy your time at m.u.s.t. . you will meet a lot of new people, and learn from each other and make progress together. finally, i wish you all to stay true to your original intention and be worthy of your heart on the road of learning, and wish m.u.s.t. will cultivate a large number of talents and continue to compose a glorious chapter.

hi everyone, my name is zhu junhua and i am a graduate of the bachelor of laws program, class of 2024. it is an incredible honor to be awarded the president’s medalist, and that is the recognition for my endeavor over the past four years. i am deeply grateful for the support and guidance provided by the university and the faculty, as well as my professors and peers who have always been with me throughout the journey. nowadays, we are in an era of opportunities and challenges, from public health crises to severe regional conflicts. these issues actually transcend the scope of a single discipline. but m.u.s.t. is a place that embraces diversity and encourages students to push the boundaries. with such a broad platform and rich resources, we are empowered to specialize in a particular subfield while attempting to solve problems from an interdisciplinary perspective. lastly, i would like to say that “yesterdays have made me what i am today”. i always believe that there is no pointless effort and irrelevant scenery in life, and that all experiences, insights, and knowledge promote self-consistency and improvements. finding the path is inevitable if one does not hesitate to try and make mistakes. thank you!
