in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the people's republic of china and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the macao sar. the international academic symposium on data-driven university development will be held at macau university of science and technology from november 17th to 19th. this symposium is organized by must, coordinated by the university library, the itdo of must, and sponsored by the macau foundation.

in the era of digital intelligence, data plays an irreplaceable role as essential infrastructure in the innovation and transformation of higher education, scientific research and teaching, comprehensive management, ethical governance, resource management, achievement transformation, and sustainable development in universities. the symposium will bring together university administrators, faculty and researchers, information technology personnel, and librarians from both national and international institutions to exchange the latest trends and achievements of smart data facilities and services. the goal of this symposium is to enhance the deep application of data in the efficient and sustainable development of higher education academic environments, improve data service efficiency, promote cooperation between macao's higher education institutions and those in the chinese mainland, hong kong sar, and other related international institutions, and enhance macao's '1 4' diversified development strategy.
